FAQ #284: Does deviantART prohibit certain types of content?

1) No one may take the pictures, they are copywrited by their owners, who are shown in the description.

2) The main subject must be a cat; Domestic, wild, photos, etc.

3) No adult content.

4) We never submit scraps.

5) We expect that you have good taste and attitude.

6) No animal cruelty or mutilation.

Joining:
By joining this club means you agree to all terms and conditions and understand the rules and all consequences if any of them are broken.

You must be a member of the club [before you can] submit a piece.

Send us a note with the title submit and with the link to your submitted piece (on your personal deviantart account) and we will submit it to the club.

By submitting a piece means that you give us permission to have it up, and it is subject to removal if any of the art criteria is broken, or possibly banned from the club. Artwork can be taken down at any time, for any reason, without notification, by either of the moderators.

Contests:

You must already be member to submit a contest piece.

Affiliation

Would you like to be a partner club or group, and be advertised in our journal? Or do you know of a group that should be in our journal but isn't? Then please note us with an appropriate title, saying so. We will put the icon in our journal and ask that the affiliating group do the same. All of our groups must agree to the terms and conditions to which we set toward our members; a respect toward animal's rights, and realise the consequences of a member who breaks those rules. (Please read sections 7 and 8 in our art criteria.)
